I'm getting **** when being called a cheater. I insult them (yes, I am not nice <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ), but only ONCE. Then usually he starts to freak out. After he notices he is ignored by me (I don't answer) he says one or 2 more insults and leaves the server, while everyone else laughs.
I do what esuna does - take it as a compliment. Envy is the sincerest form of flattery. I've been accused of having a british accent though. I got my first cheat accusation (that I can remember) not long ago, playng Wolf ET as sniper. I've a very good sniper. Part of sniping in ET is that when you fire you're still zoomed in but the recoil sends your aim way up into the sky. Another fact is that a headshot will not kill instantly - it takes two body hits, or a body his and a head hit (but it's better to go for the head in case they're wounded, or in case their health is boosted by medics. Anyway).
So, with enough practise, you get good enough to headshot them, drop your aim back down, and put another round in their chest before they have time to take cover properly. After lots of practise, you get <i>very</i> fast at re-acquiring your aim after a shot. So, after I dropped some poor field ops twice or so he got very annoyed that I could shoot accurately again so fast, and accused me of cheating <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I hardly ever get accused. Usually it's just a lol, and I ask them what kind of cheat I use. The only time that I can remember this happening in NS was when a guy thought I had some sort of "Damage and Armor cheat" that made me have tons of armor and deal more damage.
Hell, I'm probably the worst vet there is. I mean, there's a reason that I use the alias ue.Pine`Jockey sometimes.

I hate dial up, but some NS is better than none, and being accused of cheating means your playing good
