<div class="IPBDescription">What do YOU do when accused?</div> I don't get accused of cheating all that much any more (gee, i wonder why). But when i used to snipe in DOD or TFC, i used to get accused all the time. I used to be a very good sniper on TFC (sniping medics and scouts out of the air consistently, holding my own against a whole team etc [/blowingownhorn]), so i used to accused of aimbotting a lot.
Now, what i used to do (and still do, on the rare occasions i get accused), was try and play a little more suspciously. On TFC for example, with a fully charged sniper shot you could frag someone if only their finger was showing. I used to refrain from doing this a lot, because A) It's a bit unfair on new people and B) It don't half get some screaming if they don't know you. But after an accusation, i used to do it every chance i got.
I traced things through walls. Just acting as if i was aiming through a wall, even if i wasn't. I started to use some little tricks that a lot of lamers didn't know (like popping up for a split second, seeing where they are, aiming and crouching. Then stand up and bang straight away).
I also started calling attention to every single shot i made. Because quite a few of the kills i get i'm surprised at myself, and it seems worse to other people.
In short, if i get accused, i start calling attention to every single kill, be it mine or someone elses, start acting suspicously etc... I don't know why i do, i just do.
Anyway, what about you lot?

I do have a habit of doing things that look like i'm aimbotting or wallhacking purely for fun. Stuff like i stand still in marine start and every so often i make a really sharp turn to another direction and start moving the mouse slowly, as if tracking something. Also sometimes if i hear something the other side of a wall i'll start firing at it, even though i know the wall's there. It's funny to get accused sometimes.
My accent h4x pwns everything.
I also get accused of cheating in Generals because I use my stealth fighters against his base defense. Quite funny actually <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Never got it in NS though.
I just tell them to report me show the evidence that I was cheating.
It's happened on Ricochet, even.
also got several "omg h4x" in Americas army... ran out early, and set up a heavy gun in one of the training laser missions... whole team came out the most un-protected door... so i just held down the trigger... bam, whole team gone
banned from DoD from "lag hacking"... i was killing people like i had a 50-60 ping, when i had 300+
kicked from about 6 cs servers, but then again, actually using hacks will get that done to you...

Ok, so I was playing CS 1.x. I was **** off, so I installed a Wallhack and aimhack. (I don't need them now, thanks to the Riot Shield). It was CS_Assault. I was a T. I had the AWM/P. So, four CT's go into the vent. I killed each and everyone of them with a single shot. I killed two CT's who thought they would be sneaky and go in the front door while we guarded vents. I killed another CT who went through the back door. Then I die from two grenades. Ya know what I hear on the "Dead" voicecomm?
"Damn, Red Dragon (me) is getting a lot of lucky shots."
That's it. Then when I don't cheat I get accused every now and then.
Just a funny story. I don't cheat for NS though.
You know how the Glock does the 3 round burst? Someone got 2 head shots with it.

worked nice for our university LAN games... but on ns or dod... not even worth having them.
If they're particularly irritating, I'll give them the play by play following every single kill I have on them, and tell them precisely what they were doing wrong which led to their demise. I'm helpful like that.
Also, if (invariably) their score begins to fall, or if they are stuck at the bottom of the pack, or just doing poorly in general, I will helpfully point this out at every possible opportunity, to demonstrate that there is an appreciable pattern for them not being good, and that evidence suggests that they have a history of dying pretty easily.

I have accused people of cheating only twice, then I wised up. Now I spectate them and record lots of demos.
The only cheating I have done is to use a simple wallhack to watch a demo of someone I suspected was wallhacking. It was great, you could easily tell he wasn't, and that I was just being paranoid.
