Skillful Customization Pack

Someone needs to create a pack that makes you inconvienenced severly. I'm talking giant muzzle flashes, hard to see skulks, a big obtrusive x-hair. Anything that would make the game harder to do well at. My theory is that if I play with everything being harder to do, shoot skulks, kill things, then when I take them off to play vanilla ns in a cal match or scrim I'll perform better. Kinda like training with weights on you.

Hehe. Well I wouldn't say my skill is bad. I'm a pretty damn good shot. But thats is besides the point as there is always a drive to be better than before, that is Natural-Selection itself, no?

as for that one one one thing, it's deliberate typos to make you look cool some how...

    GET IT?!?!!1121oneoneelevenEXCLAMATIONMARK

i guess it evolved, STOP!! -> STOP!1 and then it gets exxagerated and deliberate from then on
    STOP!12121123211one oneoneoneone..

it's like how own -> pwn -> pwnage....

    hrm.. making a disadvantage pack?

that sounds kinda ok, but i wouldnt recommend.. just play with teh default skins with GAMMA turned down, making skulks harder to see..
crosshairs(default) are obrusive anyways so play with them, and skulks are blardy hard to spot..

for those who want it easy to spot skulks

Basically, you're creating difficulty, by making everything harder to see. So, why don't you try putting the brightness down gradually?

On top of that, you could also remove the crosshair, and try to aim and fire at any given object in one single movement. This really helps with the aiming bit.

Turn up the sound as high as tolerable (or get a headset, an absolute must for serious gaming), so you can really hear the enemy.

And instead of "Where's Waldo?", try playing a little "Where's the cloaked Skulk" in the Refinery Hive.

Train under these circumstances and you'll suck when you return to the old models.

Personaly the theory is sorta true

I used the aliens pack for ages (the 1 with the black aliens)
meaning they where very difficult to see meaning u need to react faster. and they where Impossible to see in dark places then when 2.0 came out and i used the default skulk for a while (But it was now very easy to spot them a skulk and aiming was easier

(i donno if i just got better at ns or if the aliens models improved my praformance <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> )

but oh well i'll be quiet now
