The beggar - Askes for items non-stop.Usually sits in base,tries to blackmail the comm,throw insults,etc.A waste of space.
The cheater - Cheats and is obvious around it.180 degree turns,hitting cloaked skulks,etc,etc.Usually pretends not to speak english,yet claims to have gone through at least 6 years of education where english is the primary teaching tool.Hmm.
The vet - Follows orders,has initiative,knows the map.Some are really OMG H4X shooters and some are ninjas...ramboing to kill rts,disrupt alien reinforcments,etc.A definite asset to the team
The blur(Absent minded) marine - Doesnt seem to know whats going on.Everyone has a wp for the last minute and has already gone on to the next,hes still somewhere far far away asking for orders.When comm comes out and dies,he usually just sits at the WP and askes for orders,not making the obvious connection that base is going down.When a skulk is in base,he doesnt shoot.When his teammate near him dies,he doesnt turn and kill the skulk,but rather,keeps walking.Useless and free res for aliens.
The rebel - Doesnt want to do anything if he doesnt want to.Often is found arguing with the comm for being a "slave driver" and "why not you go there yourself?".Ramboes and gives res to aliens.Useless.Also,damn noisy.
The fake korean/vietnamese/chinese/whatever - Pretends to be from some exotic asian country where english is barely taught in the schools.Will definately be found ramboing,laming and if ever let into the CC,does something really stupid like make 3 IPs,double TFs,etc.Is usually a veteran in disguise with a different wonid,partaking in some "fun" llaming.
The gangster - Pretends to be a gangster.Speaks/types in local dialects.Usually has a mic which he uses to shout insults in,you guessed it,local dialects.Often is found arguing with the comm,complaining about how his teammates suck,boasting about how good he is,and when people ask him to shut up(not like they DO on my servers,since...herd syndrome.),he challenges them to gang fights at some popular tourist location,such as Orchard Road.Damn noisy.
The fake newbie - Pretends to be a newbie,but is usually a vet in disguise with different wonid and nick who wants to lame around for "fun".Can be found annoying the entire server with stupid questions like "how to evolve?" "what to do?" "how to play" "how to get big gun?".Free res for aliens of course.
The pervert - Currently only ONE guy in my community fits this.Hes a bisexual teenager who likes animal sex as well.Usually found making the server puke with graphical descriptions of gross stuff,discussing things like **** sex,etc,etc.For some strange reason,everyone seems to love him.
The fake handicap - Pretends to be handicapped.Most often pretends to be blind.Can often be found at an outpost or some remote location,walking here and there staring at the walls.If the comm askes him to move,he doesnt.Often ramboes and dies...if you thought 3/3 ha/hmg with MT cant lose to a single skulk,you thought wrong.Free res for aliens.Useless.
The smart-alex - Thinks hes very smart.Often found trying to tell the comm to do really stupid things,such as use mines to guard base from skulks,use HMG to kill hive,or askes for tf in a hive to kill it with turrets.Argues with the comm when he refuses to do his stupid "suggestions".After that,most likely either camps in base or ramboes while throwing insults at the comm and anyone else who doesnt like him,while complaining loudly that people who dont like him are ****,complain noisly(ironic right?) or suck.Noisy.
The berserker - Extremely blood thirsty.Ramboes off to kill aliens.Disdanes building stuff,teamwork and moving in a group.Will usually also do really stupid things such as try to kill hive with LMG,rush OCs with a knife or try to duel a 2 hive onos(cough stomp devour cough)

May not be the best soldier (ie: his/her aim or JP skills may need work), but always works his or her *** off for the team. Also, rarely humps the armory, unless they possess a high-level weapon.

When they're on their game they can ad lib the lyrics to reference events in the game. This freestyle works especially well when they're in the Comm Chair. I've seen this only once. The next game, <b>everyone</b> spent the enitre round telling the aliens EXACTLY where he was. If I remember correctly, he was killed over 100 times. Ahh: sweet, sweet vengeance.

Anyways, onto a type of rine I've seen.
The Sneaker.
This marine is usually a vet, ninja or just really good at sneaking around. Can go from marine start in ns_nothing, and end up in via duct asking the comm to drop a phase gate and no one knows how he go there, let alone that he was even on the team. A valuable asset for getting a PG set up at a hive.
The scout.
A sneaker but with a more defined roll. Will try to relay enemy positions to the team while getting to the hive. After that PG is up, he'll run off to somewhere and distract the aliens. Either by shooting at another one of their hives, or chopping an RT down far away from the rest of the team.

How about the Knifers...
They go around constantly trying to knife things. Skulks, fades, oc's, and most of all, gorges. (they then get health sprayed to death, ahhh, irony) They, like most other llama's, pretend not to speak English or any language in general or they say their keyboard isn't working. (of course their keyboard works for that one message telling us about how it doesn't work...) You drop them an hmg/sg and a jp/ha they take it then pull out their trusty knife and slice away. GG llama.

It's useless, yes, but it's also fun to get this stuff off of your chest. I don't think it belongs in marine strategy but still, it's not completely useless.
What's with the bullsh*t prejudice comment though? He wasn't be racist, predjudice or anything. Alot of people do pretend to be from China or North Korea (are computers even allowed in North Korea?) because they think it makes them look cool and they can do a bunch of **** they normally couldn't.

What in the world? You know there are actually korean/viet/chinese people playing ns and actually are korean/viet/chinese. You're saying those people do not know how to be a commander? I tried to play on a korean server a couple weeks ago (hey...you know you're a ns addict when you play ns 6 in the morning) and their playing style is entirely different than Americans.. Even tho I couldn't understand a word they're saying, they're not that bad. I actually commanded with 300 ping there and won a game with nothing but "go here", "kill this", "get that"..3 words. You don't need to get a degree in English to to command in ns (nor do you need to fully understand it). The aliens were pretty insane too...ever seen a public game where there are a gang of 4-6 lerks 3 minutes in the game?

Actually, both can and do happen: there are idiots out there who think the 'fake chinese' bit is hilarious - no matter how many times they do it. Also, there can be and are people who really do hail form china. And their ping can still be less than 100. I've played on an Australia server, from the US, with a 75-ish ping.
