absentic's original post was blunt, but not particularly over the top. However, ANYONE who finds a post of his nuked above (that would include coolcookiecooks, absentic, Daza400, and nightdragon) can consider themselves in hot water. Watch your tone, please, and DO NOT FLAME ANYONE, PERIOD.

Regarding the model: very nice! I'm extremely torn between this pack and the defaults; they're fantastic quality.

Its a great model, better than anyone here can do, I reckon, but whether he wants to release them out is up to him. Whats the point of starting a flame war?
I personally was sleeping while you made the request (timezones, you know) but if you really wanted to see the p_ and w_ in action, you could have used bots like someone suggested.

with that aside, BrigadierWolf i was using ur shottie just then while playing ns, and i think its good, doesnt take up much screen space, animation is good, love the details and the sharp skinning, and u dont get a lot of shottie skin been released, so this would be good thing to get away from the originals. (i donno why but i get alergic to any original models from any FPS games).
I didnt want to see the P and W models. I thought I explained this several times. I wanted to get a few people to try it out, and tell me where I f**cked up. Because Once I release it, All of a sudden there 15 mirrors, and even If I fix the problems, the mirrors will still have messed up versions. THATS why you need people to test models. Bots cant reply with "Oh hey, the shell isnt going in right."
-edit- Yeah Mashi, i get bored with original models pretty fast too.. Thats why I spend such a big chunk of my free time modelling..

Yes, make sure the models are functioning correctly.. Now, can a Bot tell you "Hey, this part is messed up".. No, they cant. Like I also stated in that same thread, probably one post earlier, If I wanted to use Bots, I could have been doing that already. Theres a reason Bots dont work when testing models. Ive been staring at this same model for 2 days, to me, It looks flawless. Obviously, Its not. Im gonna look at it, say "Its ready!", release it, and then 20 minutes later have someone tell me that the P model is too small, Or one of the animations is fouled up. And then Im going to have to ask everyone who mirrired it to take it down and upload the fixed version. And Guess how you can avoid all that. By getting 5 or 6 people all in a server to check out the model for 5 minutes. And no one was willing to do that.
No, I think at this point Id rather you dont test them. Ill get some people who can show at least a little respect. and its not that I even want respect, Im not an egofreak. But to go and tell someone theyre an elitist after all that work, thats a serious f**cking insult.

I'd love to test out your work, but I really can't. I have a 56k dial-up, and I can't get Broadband installed cos my phoneline is fecked up. I am wondering whether a DSL modem would do the trick.
