It was old enough to be built back when people wore really silly clothes and big puffy pants =D
I guess I could go check the foundation brick but I finished school about 4 years ago ^^;

It's like super old though... I'm probably more old school than anyone ^~

I don't remember how it was started (someone told me shortly afterwards), but I did remember Bob. I didn't take part in it, because I actually got around to registering in March. I have a question--weren't the forums on an XP-ish theme once?

Pjofsky, yes, that was during a switchover from the old forum format to the Invision format.

I cant remember what format the old boards were in though. Not UBB, not PhpBB/2, and definetly not YABB...

And the font was tiny... I mean REALLY tiny...

If anyone wrote in italics then the entire message turned into a garbled unreadable mess... I remember having turned my resolution down to try and make it seem bigger... We're talking a font size of around 4 here...

I am nubcaek old school (was the informed noob about a month or so before release)

Bob, is kinda unmentioned due to the 'its name is skulk if you call it bob we will beat you around the head'.

bob is mentioned every so often still, though fatty and pudgy and such are much more common ;P

hehe, I guess I am sorta unkown to alot of the new member b/c I spend all my time in tech help with a smatering in here ;P

The Moleculor vs Monse war where Molecular kept trying to complain that filtering bob to say skulk was stupid but everytime he tried to avoid the filter Monse would change it to skulk.

Woohoo Nemisis you're the only person who's posted so far that I remmebr personally, and yes I do remember Hectate.. I saw him mostly in mIRC, but can't quite remmber exactly what he did... wasn't he part of the mapping or coding team? Maybe I'm getting him confused with Merkaba *shakes head and shrugs* I remmebr he did something creating content for NS, but just can't remmber how, or even if it was official or unofficial.

So fill me in on this war between Mole and Mons over Bob, or point me to a thread, I'm suprised it happened I thought everyone loved Bob!

And Talespin, no I don't recall scorpions that hover I remember hearing about how the lerks didn't flap their wings from the early play testers, but unfortunately I never saw it myself (had to wait for the release before I got to play myself).
