I'm sorta like you... Theres a few systems around me with stronger people that are battling it out across multiple planets, but I plan on letting them kill each other then taking them over.

I have been led to believe that Physics and maths applies to both.

However this could be the case, especially the way it is worded in the glossary. Might have to check on AW forums.

Go to the map menu, and click on a star system. The click on a players name. This should bring up their profile. In this there is an option to send a private message.

Alliances are established through this way and lead on to other forms of communication ... MSN . AOL

Sorry if this has been posted - I'm not wading through 30 odd pages. What about specific build orders ? I'm aware it depends on strategies and so forth, but I'm a bit stuck on what is best. For example, general wisdom at the moment is Robotic Factories and Hydroponic Farms up to 4 each. Then a couple of Galactic Cybernets. What next ? Pump Robotic Factories ? Or more balanced ? At the moment, I've kinda gone Robo, Hydro, Cybernets in order of precedence. For example, my home planet is at:

Population 9
Hydroponic Farm 9
Robotic Factory 12
Galactic Cybernet 8
Research Lab 5

My second planet is:

Population 9
Hydroponic Farm 8
Robotic Factory 10
Galactic Cybernet 6
Research Lab 4

Have I spread things out too much or is that balance about right ? Its just that PP for my 4 planets is +70 which seems woefully small to build enough to take out a level 5 starbase (probably soon to be upgraded I would have thought). It's gonna take 8 hours just to build one battleship

Also, I've just wasted a SpendAllPoints in trade 'cos I'm still at level 0 hehe.

moinsen,

I recommend doing it your way after 4. But personally I am capping my farms, robos and nets at level 11. research labs will be going to 9 probably.

Except the planet where I can spend all points at. This will be the mother planet where all SU's are spent at. Effectively going on for level 20, 30 as long as the market doesn't go too expensive. Also pump those cybernets, because after 8 planets culture starts to take a really really long time.

I will be able to colonise my 10th planet tonight. Hopefully over the unsuspecting victim

He he, I love it when people in other countries are in bed.

10 planets damn, your getting lots of culture, i am only up to my 9th, and it will be another 20 hours before i can get my 10th.

So its good to have 1 mother planet eh....
Is it not a good idea to just upgrade all your planets slowlly?

Because if SU stay at the same price, it doesnt which planet you upgrade. They all have the same benifit.

I have the culture, and have just launched my ships. waiting 10 minutes then launching my transports.

Bombs away. Should be there in 5 hours. That is freaking good.

I am not sure if it is good to have 1 mother planet... I am going to try and have 2. See how it works out. But the reason is because of the SU price at the moment, it is over $700 and level 12 buildings cost ~$650. Average planet would take close to 48 - 72 hours just for this. You are better off to just pool all planets PP together, each create ~80pp and buy the SU. Will take about 4 hours. That way you can experience the power of the upgrade and start reaping its benefits sooner.

The basic principle of why you build a robo first on a farm applies here. You get as little as you can as fast as you can to start reaping the benefits.

I will be back on tonight after watching Matrix Reloaded, let the community knows how the screwing went over. he he he. long live the Ao4.

Regards
Es Quatro

BTW how much culture are you getting
The average stats for each planet is

10.1 culture per hour
18 science per hour - this is crap considering all my planets are over 10 - not really concentrating on this yet.
22 pp an hour
11 pop an hour.

average pop is 11.5

I'm amassing a huge fleet to break a guys hold in our system - level 10 starbase, if i sent a fleet he could get it around 11 by the time i got there. im not sure if he has a fleet on the planet, but he is having a war in the system, so it is entirely possible :|. the fleet i intend to send will be around 10 BS, 10 Cruisers, 100 destroyers... any suggestions? You think it will work? What should i send? What would you send if you were me? I am getting 153 pp per hour

edit: although currently i have no ships, and no money saved up, and i have to upgrade 3 planets more before i start stockpiling money. 1 planet just a single level up, one planet from pp 18 to 22, and the other planet not much at all

Ok, I really dont get exactly how refferals work....

the refferal link takes ppl to a registration page to join Astro Wars...but the glossary says refferals are equal to refered players "Player Level"...you can only get Player Level by fighting other players...meaning you must already be registered.

In any case...do you guys mind giving me some culture points by clicking here...hopefully, I will get some points for it...dunno :/

Thanks to anyone who tries for me.

How the referral system works -

You give someone your referral link. They click on it, and use that link to sign up with Astrowars. For every player level they get, or something, you get that many extra culture points a day.

I.e you refer three people who become Level 1 players, each day you get x Culture points an hour. With the referrals, you get x times 24 plus 3 per day.

well, something like that. hope it cleared something up for you.

Well, if 56 a day is "rolling in it", then yes I am.

Sorry I've been neglecting you guys, I am just playin savage like there is no tomorrow, and quatro has been taking care of the questions, but I'll try and post more. I've submitted Astrowars for a budget traitor over at The Ready Room, so things might be getting interesting, depending on Comprox.

To those of you who look like you are facing defeat, if you are really beaten, resign and restart. I had to do it the first time, and I was really disheartened. All my hard work gone, but the second time round I avoided all my earlier mistakes, and now I am having the time of my life. My ally Jerry and I are prepping for attacks. Jerry has already attacked and I'm going to be attacking soon.

lvl Science (+25 per hour) Remain
Biology 8 96
Economy 10 187
Energy 10 203
Math 9 188
Physics 11 327
Social 10 272

Location Transport ColonyShip Destroyer Cruiser Battleship
Alpha Haedi 1 0 0 3 0 3
Alpha Haedi 2 2 0 2 3 0

Hehe, hopefully I can fair well enough. One guy I plan to attack has 4 starbases. My attack value is triple his defense value, Star base wise though. Not sure about his fleet if he has any.

Hmmm, I also have a question.

If my planet AH-1 has like lvl 5 research lab and I get 8 science per level
Then I put points into my research lab on AH-2, would that increase my max science per level?
