    Sounds awful, but I still havn't had an online game of ns_veil yet. Just havn't been in any servers at the right times, I guess.

    Not that big a fan of lost though, it's just too square.

    Let's not even get into origin... <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
    Origin > Veil > Lost > Mineshaft
    I like the first 3 but not the fourth. <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Veil is a very enjoyable map, however it is a little larger than its bigger brother (eclipse) so I think that eclipse has a little better balance. To me, eclipse is almost like the "perfect" map - not too big, not too small - no areas have massive amounts of res, and the strats used on that map change all the time. Eclipse is really enjoyable, and it would have been extremely difficult for veil to compete with that. (Although it does come close). Id say that I like ns_lost second. I think the new additions that it underwent were for the better, and its more balanced. After ns_lost I'd have to say that mineshaft is ranked 3rd for me. Although I don’t really know every part of this map, yet, I have not had a bad game on that map due to how the map was constructed. It appears to be fair and balanced - much like eclipse. And forth, for me, is ns_origin. My only problem with this one is how insanely bad the Onos is on this map. For each hive, the Onos has only one way out. You'd better hope that the marines are on that side - if not you have quite the walk trying to get behind them. The vents are used heavily by the marines - just further increasing the Onos's problems. Since an Onos cant get into vents (I've actually seen relocations in the vent system, and the marines held out quite well against us – however they could not afford HA for everyone and were spored to death) he cannot even access half the ways the marines can take to attack a hive. (example - back way from furnace leading to biodome hive - if they are in that area, the onos _must_ do a frontal attack, through furnace hive - usually the onos just die when his happens) There are also various stuck issues w/ the onos as well, putting origin to the bottom of my list (like my list matters anyway...)
