Question About 1.04 Models

I used several custom models with 1.04. Namely, the Starcraft marines, Warhammer 40k Marine Armor ( for HA ),Zerg Zergling, Zerg Hydralisk, Zerg Drone, Zerg Ultralisk, and the AvP Pulse Rifle. Are these models comaptible with 2.0? I believe I read in a topic that the zerg models were not due to the 'bones' not being similar ( is the same true for all modles? ) -- if not is a conversion in the works? I really loved these models and would hate to not be able to use them anymore. Thanks for any info.

    Well, the easiest way to find out is probably to try them and see what happens. Might be fine, or the animations might be completely goofy.

    Disclaimer: Make sure you have your original model folder backed up and in a safe place in case it all goes a bit pear shaped. ( It would be nice if I followed my own advice sometimes. I managed to wipe every single custom model I had when I installed 2.0..in all the excitement I completely forgot to back them up..ah well. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )

    Skulk models *should* be 2.0-compatible, but DON'T take my word for it -- I haven't tried yet. Gorge, Lerk, Fade, and Onos models need new animations for their new abilities.

    All models are clean. Use em. They work. I tried them and are currently useing them. Except fot the obvious:

    -Grenade Lanucher
    -Welder
    -Hydralisk Claws

    The Ultralisk works expecially well. It plays the old parasite animation when it uses devour, and claws with gore, etc. It's very nicely off despite common belief.

    Skulks work awesomely still. Something coded flips the model they arnt other animations so yep it works fine.
