Maps: How Far?

<div class="IPBDescription">mapping progress</div> so guys lets get serious: I want to know how far your maps are. I saw some really great screenshots and some really amazing architecture. but the only thing that is released are "funmaps" that nobody really needs. where are all the promissing projects? cause Im custom hungry and this hunger gets stronger every day...

No ETA as of yet since i've got a full time job to do and other commitments, so it's not that easy to find time.

It'll be a while before I do too much else NS-related, though - I've got Nightwatch and a commercial gig to focus on in for a little while. NS_Justice is also a serious NS map, it's layout complete but I have't put in any details yet, so there's nothing to show you.
You can now show the completeness %age of your map on NS World. If enough mappers do this I will add completeness to the map listings pages.
Im testing a new lighting throughout all the map as i was told that light in Mystic sucked a bit. I think there is no point in releasing maps now as v2.0 is so near itll be stupid to then make a new build of the map just to fix the new gameplay.
about ns_angel...im like Chrome and Nem, cant post any shots right now, and map is 20% maybe.

Check the Mapping Forum FAQ, attachment in the third post -- those pictures are dev overviews normally used for HLTV.
I haven't worked on my NS map in a month or so (it's in a holding pattern while I work on the new tools). It's currently around 40% finished.

My map is about 30% done (layout is finished, all rooms are there, basic lightning, almost no details yet). I can't post screenshots cause i don't want to post crap.

@blueman: do you now know what causes your maps to crash on some machines? I will try it again... plz fix it because the screenshots look NICE!!!

I really want to have it done before 2.0 , because once 2.0 is released Im probably scrap tempku and start all over again with the great new textures. I mean who's gonna want to look at an out dated map <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> Not to mention people will be busy playing the new maps , and most of the custom stuff will be shelved until everyone gets bored of the 2.0 maps.
