<div class="IPBDescription">Caught a 2 ton Onos</div> I was searching around google to see what would come up when I typed in random NS related stuff.
I typed in "Onos of the Week" and up came this from a fishing journal.
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->There were a ton of Onos caught this week and in the tournament, and they were found both on the 40 fathom ledges and in the deep water. Chances are the Ono fishing will be the best bet for the coming week, too.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->A school of Ahi all over 100 lbs ran in Waianae, and some real big Spears and even some big Onos were reported all out in Waianae, mostly because of the weather.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
<a href='http://www.sportfishhawaii.com/html/reportjune.htm' target='_blank'>http://www.sportfishhawaii.com/html/reportjune.htm</a>
apparently the onos is a type of deep dwelling tropical fish found around Hawaii.
Interesting.
