<div class="IPBDescription"> - this may be dumb</div> sorry for the new topic, but i found something in milkshape that i thought i'de share... in the 1.5.5 series and up, there is a new plugin in your Tools section. BUT, if you don't have 1.5.5 or up, you can D/L the plugin from the main site, second news post down.

but it's a tool that lets you select faces in a 3D view. also known as "Selection Editor"....

sorry, but this helped me out alot with my current WIP... sorry, i'm Atention Deficit, i've gotta have tons of things to do... this is why the muta isn't meshed yet...

now it might be a little scary, but the tool is amazing, here is a screenshot of my using it on the newest model i'm working on.

you click "save" to get back to regular milkshape, with the new faces selected... amazing little tool i just discovered!

just a note, when you buy Milkshape, you also buy infinate upgrades in the 1.X.X series... so if you've payed for it, you CAN upgrade and still use your old code... if it doesn't work, yell at them for a new code.

still a shame that this is an external window and not the regular 3d view.

Okay, I'm running MilkShape 1.6.6a I downloaded the plugin, rebooted, opened <b>tools> shortcut & plugin manager</b> scrolled all the way down to the ms's and couldn't find the plugin. What the hell?

Will this only work with Directx9 or has it been altered to run on 8?

I've got 1.6.6a btw, and it wasn't in my tools menu either.

I got the plugins, but I can't get it to show up in the tools section at all. ( I realise I'm probably doing something noobish here though, as I've never added plugins to MS3D before..)

What am I doing wrong here?
