but i'll try and keep it clean.
<b>I'm tired of being called a nub/noob:</b>
as a fairly new person to this community, i try to be tolerant and learn all that i can. i know that one should be patient, and kind... but why haven't other people picked this up?
<b>you say map, i say mesh:</b>
going along with the first one, when does one get away insulting another person based ONLY on their vocabulary? i call a UVmap a mesh, you might call it a Uvmap, a map, or a coordmap, but it's all the same thing, don't you think it would be polite to learn more terms for the same thing?

if i use a different word... why does that lower my level of intellegance to 0? i know the word you use within the first 3 replys you give me, but why am i the idiot that doesn't your word?

i say mesh, too... for the last year. Screw anyone who doesn't like it

This leads to many people getting called n00bs and at the other extreme hackers. I try not to get frustrated with new players and if i ever call someone a n00b im usually joking.
I think the NS community will relax as more players join.
"Alright guys - go get some RTs!"
"Uhm, Sid? Can you give us some waypoints?"
"Waypoints are for Sissies, now I want each Marine to SPLIT UP and find those RTs!"
