(couldnt get the good of a pic of the marine but i can find some if someone is interested)

    I personally think the Covenant would make good Marines. Light Marines as Elites, Heavies as Hunters, maybe Jackals as jetpackers. They would also need new buildings. If it was a complete model conversion to Halo I would have the aliens be Flood. The Flood can really take on any shape (anything they infest), so maybe infested versions of the normal aliens? I think a infected Onos would be freaking awesome!

    Covenant vs Flood, hehe. Flood would work good as Alien replacements due to the infested maps.

    Best chance you'll have of getting Halo models is asking Lazer to do it.

    When school gets out (friday) I'm probably going to get back to work on my modelling stuff. First will come the m17, then I will work on other stuff. I'll see what I can do. I wanna try to make the elite as a fade replacement. Maybe a marine. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet, but since I know so much about Halo (I even read the prequel novel, a very good book if you ask me), the elites are taller than normal humans, so it would be more correct as a fade.

    the fade is smaller though..... i mean then the elite (as in mass) so the elite i think would be a better onos then a fade..

    I don't get your logic about the elite being an onos at all. The hunter would make a way better onos because of the fact that it is so big and bulky. I'm not gonna make an elite on all fours since that will look just weird.

    DO NOT CHALLENGE MY HALO KNOWLEDGE! Okay, j/k, but I'm a diehard fan of Halo. I'm reserving Halo 2 pretty damn soon, own a UNSC hoodie, a black shirt with one of the plasma-sword toting Elite on it, the official soundtrack, and 2 mugs, the one with the Grunt on it that says "Satisfy your Grunty thirst" (you won't get this unless you know the game's easter eggs) and the black 7th Column cup. I also plan to seek out Marathon and posssibly play it on a Mac emulator. I have both books, know the prequel is awesome and the second is terribly written and actually goes against some things in the game (the Covenant weren't there first! They followed the PoA there!) which I call "Halo-blasphemy..." Kinda sucks from my perspective because the Covenant don't exactly "morph," nor do they act like wild animals, or spread green **** all over. The Flood do. About the Elites being too big to be Marines, why not make them the same size and simply have the <i>map</i> change scale. It's all about perspective. I particularly like the idea of Grunts being jetpackers, because my game-name is BabyGrunt.
