[sarcasm]I've got the best job, Kitchen Porter. I clean dishes and clean the kitchen. Though it was a bit unpleasant today because the waste disposal unit got clogged up and loads of half eaten dinners started flying out of the top of it. I got the lovely task of cleaning it up and unclogging the machine. Then to add to that I discovered the drains had clogged too.....
Gotta luv it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> [/sarcasm]

Dubers, I think it has a lot to do with the media stuff. And hey, you gotta admit, it'd be fun. Apart from getting shot at the odd time but hey, comes with the job.
I've spent a few years getting my electronics engineering degree, but unfortunately the job market seems to suck for entry-level techie positions nowadays. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
In order to pay the bills, my day job is currently "Tech. Support/Customer Service Representative" for Rogers AT&T Wireless. My other income comes from freelance web design and application development.

First year Computer Science student at Curtin University (and for the record, I'm getting reamed by the maths). Hoping to get a job making computer games (and before you inundate me with horror stories about the industry, how hard it is to get in, what a **** job it is, blah blah blah - don't. I've done the homework already.)
I could probably tell you some horror stories about the industry, not because I have any experience, but because I wrote a nine-page paper on the subject for English the end of last year. Actually, I don't really know anything, it was mostly bs, but I still got an A- on it, which is good for English.
Anyway, I'm still in highschool, going into 10th grade next year, and with no idea what I'm going to do in the future for a job. Most likely something with computers, possibly with graphics / 3d stuff, maybe with music. I don't know.
5th year in the Scottish Secondery Education system. Which is whatever the equivelent for a 16 year old in your country. I also do a paper round which I'm going to give up soon so that I can go work in Safeways as a checkout operator or something like that.
Research engineer at the department of Information Technology of an Swedish university . Which is just a nice way of saying that I teach classes and grades exams <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
