    Wow , thanks a lot.
    Perhaps you could post some screens of each RC you had during the pre-beta 1 stage.
    Or even that little movie which showed some of the key features of NS , you know , the one encoded in divX , without sound and showing the right click menu as well as some shots of the commander mode .
    I think that would be nice.
    And while i look at these screens i'm really looking forward of what Ns will "evolve" into in Beta 2 (perhaps on HL2 <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ).

    Wow. I must say, NS has come a very long way since then. I do want to say, I LOVE that "Old Ns site intro" Flash movie.. I think it's great. Maybe update it with current game sounds, and I think it'd be perfect as an advertisement banner/site intro. hehe..

    Yeah I played Opposing Force - for the whole hour it took to finish. Quite possibly one of the easiest end-game bosses I have ever seen, especially as you can run off to get all your health back at any time. The Para was a great gun tho (yes I do mean the SAW, they are the same gun), and the multiplayer gets funny with sniper rifles and teleporter weapons.

    lol at the screenshots tho, I think they actually look quite cool!

    Much further into making a mod that I have any hope of ever getting <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->, I know f*** all about programming...

    Its the para, there is no disputing it, its too big to be an Aug, and its too rigid to be the OP4 SAW.

    In that screenshot where he's holding a weapon, it isn't a weapon from another game, it's a weapon model for NS that didn't make it into 1.0. Just look at this:

    Its the para from CS I'm so sure of it (although its left handed). NS was based on CS, right? Or at least it started off that way. There is a bunch CS stuff floating around all over the ns directory. I wonder why it was based on CS in the first place.

    (Also a little bug/ easter egg: If you've ever had babblers out look down at the bottom right and you'll see the C4 Icon from CS. Pretty weird)

    The aren't exactly the same, that was a very early screenshot after all and the weapon models have surely changed some, after all the weapon wasn't released in 1.0, so they must have made some changes for the 1.1 version.

    The little circle thing and the little handle are basically all that you can make out of the black screenshot. It could just as easily be the weapon that was blurred on Readyroom.org as it could be the 'Para'.

    Mike (Bathroom Monkey), who does all weaponmodels, wasn't in the team at that point if I'm not mistaken.
