ok the other day i thought to my self, why dont i make a nice BIG NS converstion pack just for the marines! why the hell not?!
So atm im in the making, or putting togther this pack. Ok still waiting to hear what the pack contains? well its time to put ur thinking caps on my friends. Imagin, ur a soldier in a special op unit ( bit like the black ops in HL ) and your sent to inspect a space ship where the crew have disappeared. So you and your team of elite units have to get in this space ship (this is the point where i need your ideas) what would u be wearing? anti bio suit? what weapon would u take in? m4a1 decked out with flashlight, laser sight and a scope? what would u use for a heavy weapon back up? mini gun?

i have got a little pack together already, using CS <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> player model, and weapon models. i know so many sites that have sweet models just waiting to be converted!
So when you do post ur ideas, thats all i want ideas.
heres a piccy of my player model i hacked my self, using 2 player model, its VERY beta so many inprovements to come.

Also that player model's poly count is 883
How about a USP match for a side arm, on the player model, it has a holster for the side arm so i replaced the gun in the holster with a usp match, just a slight adding of detail not to noticable but still i know its there.

this cameras are part of the landwarrior system... the early models are way to heavy.. but the newer ones are just small ccd cameras ..

this model was also a prototype test for the oicw target aquisition computer...
but what are you going to do for the buildings?

Full biosuit, with gas mask like the light armour, but armour plates and lots of tubes.
Dude if your not going to contribute dont say anything. And we are not trying to make NS Cs we just want guns that are in that style. CS is going around shooting people. NS is a team based game. And like Coil said. If you are not contributing don't say anything at all

oh right, the HA could be Head-to-toe black kevlar with stuff like that. see that old model that was released a while back. Its a replacement for the SAS and can be found at skinshack i think. not sure.

Overall i like this idea of present guns maybe a little futuristic hacked (aka scopes, sights, milkshape blenders), but still only a present day gun. Makes the whole feel futuristic, but realistic. Hope this pack will keep by this.

yeah with a bunch of junk you can't use. those guns are so tight. flashlights scopes slings bi-pods and stuff..makes me feel like an unstoppable force..j/k thats lame. but i do want extra crap on my guns
and coil why am i the only one that gets warnings?
i dont start flames i end them or stop them. then i say something that could sorta maybe be considered flaming and i get yelled at...WTH is up with that
so, use p90 for lmg and famas w/box mag for hmg.
by the way.. this says modern, right? might wanna use an Ameli (spanish mg42 look alike (not ripoff, look alike), from 1982). the famas is from back when all our parents had afros. i mean, 1975 isn't exactly modern, fellas. p-90 was invented in 1990. i THINK that's why it's the p-90. THAT or it's gotta be the magazine above the gun, with cartridges at 90 degrees. anyway, that's a little better.
MY POINT is that the lmg and hmg have **** rates of fire. so u gotta use guns w/**** rofs.
About the HA, have any of u played Raven Shield? and tried Heavy Armour, well how abouts armour along that line. i was thinking of giving the current NS HA a re-skin, but i not to happy about doing it.
heres a list of wats in my pack so far.
lmg = weapon 9 (p90-famas hack)
hmg = G36c BetaC (im thinking its a tad too small)
Soldier = Anti Bio suit i hacked
Pistol = H&K USP Match
Knife = found a bad **** one, but some how when trying to convert it to NS the origins got messed up and doesnt appear on screen <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Building = nothing as yet, cuz im not to sure on wat to do to them, might tone em down abit on the colours.
obtw www.weapon-hacks.com was my first place i went for the stuff, but some guys thought it be funny to eat up there bandwidth, so all u can do is look at the pretty pics and not download the goods :/

I'm thinking something along the lines of the ones in the terrible Kurt Russell movie "Soldier", they're basically hackjobs of the miniguns they mount on helicopters..might be cool
