    TBH instead of it changing your name, the server side one should have put a symbol next to your name on the scoreboard.

    No-CD means that the server is running <a href='http://www.cheating-death.com' target='_blank'>Cheating-Death</a> an anti-cheat program, and the user with the tag "No-CD" doesn't have it turned on.

    Well one time i was playing on a server where noone had cd, and this guy pops in and hes like, "Whoa, did I just step into a NO-CD match?" Then his name changed and hes like "oh".

    LOL the funnyest thing is telling some random newby he can tryout for NO-CD. Then tell him hes in, put on the tag, AND DONT USE YOUR CD!

    NO-CD was a top clan for a while. They owned the likes of sYn, ReD, eve, HAM, STD, SiD, ue... all of them. They didnt have much strategy but their aim and skulking was incredible. All was going well until one of their members was caught cheating in a CAL match. He was a new recruit but CAL admins didnt care. The clan was banned from CAL and they disbanned. Now Anticheat software will put a [NO-CD] tag on your name if you aren't verified as a non-cheater. The last I heard of any of them had something to do with a rigged professional go-fish tournament.

    I also through it was because i didn't have the game CD in the drive. When it appeared in CS i was putting the half-life CD in before playing the game for a couple of weeks before realising what it meant.
