Is it the shape or the fact that its blue that bothers you?

Those pipes look cool....just turn down the red a little, colors like that are better as accents than main hallway colors... especially with normal colored rooms in full view. Don't take it out... just make it a little more subtle.
Yeah, I'm still "tweaking" the light. I'm still used to setting light values for a Torque game engine rad compiler... its so sad so few of these maps ever see the light of day <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> I think mappers should release versions of their maps intended for other mappers so we can all have a look, while non mappers might not be able to appricate an unfinished map, other mappers still could.
i've been toying with the idea of releasing bsps of just a room with an info_player_start, problem is you already have to have web hosting to do it. It would be cool since things like wolfwings 4 billion entity door of doom don't really come across well in a screenshot.
