Yeah, I was trying to get a screenshot of where the skulks can hide. <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::gorge::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='pudgy.gif'><!--endemo-->
I think pipes and cables would detract from the walls here. To me this doesn't look like a service area. I know of few non-service areas in buildings today that have pipes, cables, and other amenity providing equipment exposed. In my mind adding such things would take away from the high tech look this room has. That said workstations inset into the walls and filled with computer screens would both add to the physical and texture detail of the walls without random pipage.
I can add stuff in, but I don't want the room to become too "busy". Pipes probably don't belong in this particular room though, I'm saving pipes for the areas that aren't near or part of the outer hull. I was thinking of keeping the ceiling simple because of the fact that (if I were to design a station) I'd keep most of the critical stuff ranging from pipes to electrical wiring away from the outer hull of the structure. But that's me, and I'm still one of those old DOOM1 fans. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo-->

Glad to see you finally use those hallway[i]s]/i] <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
very nice look there mouse. 1 and 3 are really too dark. Especially a hallway leading to something like a mainframe seems like it would be well lit to me. That said you've already mentioned you're working on that... so awesome work so far.
those look really cool. 1 and 2 remind me of a covenant ship from Halo. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
That tunell came out really good. Good work! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
You bet. Here they (it was 'we' some time ago, but I somehow lost the mapping energy... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> ) make magic! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
i really love the bland blue lighting although the contrast with the red is a bit extreme, i find it absolutly perfect. niec job there Mouse.
Zazi as always magnifique work <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

visit <a href='http://nsworld.ns-central.co.uk/Map.php?UniqueID=318' target='_blank'>this</a> and U will understand what that tunell is (is for train). In future i'm goint to add a lot of ventilation for skulks in my map, it will be very skulk friendly map <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo-->
I know, my map is unplayable when is sun shining in my monitor, but in night is it OK. I like the Aliens vs Predator vision of spaceships, and is inspired with AvP, especialy lights.

Most of them are a bit too dark at the moment...
On that note, I have no light_enviroment as of yet. not sure if I want one though.
As you can see these are just unconnected hallways at the moment.
Mainframe on the left, part of Living quarters on the right
The hallway that ThoraX's reminded me of.
