meh. i baught the game for pc, it loaded, looked cool, but it felt like a console game. It also didnt work at all well on my pc, thanks to the lovely requirement of a 7200rpm hard drive, so it lagged like a aoler on a 9k modem.
So I swaped it for the xbox version, and so far, it think it plays much better. (who needs a mouse/keyboard when there is NO need to aim?)
i don't mind bad graphic..... not at all... but the game has squared wheels !! SQUARES !!! and the gameplay... it just doesn't catch me.. though it's a nice ending movie <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I'm thankful of the returns policy since one week i was +extremely+ short on money, but i had to buy MGS2 on it's release day. Electronics Boutique canceled their 10 day return policy in March. I tried returning this POS and they told me I could only exchange it IF it was defective. Full returns are only possible if you havent opened it. Which is stupid, why would I return a game I haven't played?

Uhh, for all the people who say they run funny...THAT'S HOW YOU RUN at sprint-speed. Most of the moves for this game were motion capture.
I personally liked ETM, it did have a few flaws (model issues, clipping in a certain spot) but for the most part I enjoyed it. Specially fun to do a Focus Dive into a room full of guards with the GP25 and *bam* they all die. I especially liked the Chateau. Hated the Smith scenes.
Well first I should probably point out that ETM is number 2 in the UK pc chart (although that could mean lots of people are buying it and being dissapointed I admit....)
"I regret ever purchasing this piece of programming tripe." 'programming tripe', opinion, not fact.
"Let me list off all that is wrong with this game - At 4.3Gb too install I was expecting MGS2 style graphics, how wrong I was. All the levels are nothing but bland corridor after corridor with uninspired architecture."
Well I can't really comment cuz I didn't buy it, I rented it for PS2, so I don't know about install sizes. And there is nothing wrong with the graphics (for PS2 anyway), though I will admit the agent looks a bit.... pink.
"- The 2 main characters run like Forrest Gump"
As someone already pointed out, when you run flat out like that (and not many game characters actually sprint, they just run), you WILL look stupid. Now, try pressing the analouge stick a little more gently, and you will notice you CAN get them to move at a speed where they run normally.
"- Niobe is the best driver in all of the Matrix (According to the manual), apparently she's never heard of the term 'brake' as the AI constantly decided to ram itself at high speeds into all of the buildings along our escape route. The cops weren't much better either"
The AI was just fine for me. We crashed once, and that was because the cops rammed us. Maybe you just got a 'bugged' level, like sometimes when you play half-life and the scientists dont do something they're supposed to...
"- Ghost is a practiced master of guns (Also according to the manual), however he can't hit jack jimmeny crap."

With anything bigger than a handgun, accuracy is fine, if you fire in bursts. And if all you have is handguns, just kung-fu em!

"- According to all the hype if I want to get the full story of Reloaded I'm meant to play through this entire game. Urgh, not bloody likely. I'll make my own conclusions thank you very much."
Well you don't need to play the game to get it, but you can sit there in the cinema and watch the power plant go boom and think to yourself:

Again, opinion.
I just got to the part where you get a cutscene showing Niobe, Ghost and Axel leaving the matrix, when a weired bum-guy with about 10 watches on his arm comes up to Niobe:
Weird bum guy: '72 hours, hehehe'
Niobe: What?
Wbg: 'Thats how long Zion lasted last time, hehehe'
N: 'Who the hell are you'
Wbg: 'Oh i'm just a spectator enjoying a ride, hehehe'
If you've seen the movie you will 'hopefully' get that. Well I thought it was cool <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
