    I hate elitism... so I'd hate to think of where this thread might go. I'll leave it for now.

    Nope, not a vet. I just showed up one day. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Often those who consider themselves vets are not in the eyes of others. What is most important is that others respect you for your age and experence in the community, and not yourself.

    There are some who might argue with me, however...

    You can't make any blanket statement as to who is a vet and who isn't.... I'm sure that i'm a better balancer than some sub #1000 members and members that joined later than me are better than I...

    I think it should depend on how one conducts him/herself and the amount of good suggestions... thinking outside the box is a good term to use.

    You sort of showed up recently in my mind. The only vets in my mind were the people who were here two forums ago (I wasn't, so I don't know the color scheme. The one before the orange and black one.)

    If anyone says post count they are getting b*tch slapped...

    I would say anyone who joined before October, but combined with Redford's idea of respect from the community...

    Well I started visiting the NS forums a long time ago. I can't remember when exactly but I know it was long before these new forums showed up. Does that make me a vet?
  • GlissGliss Join Date: 2003-03-23 Member: 14800Members, Constellation, NS2 Map Tester
    Well, I would consider myself a vet if you were talking about the game. But no, not in the forums, I'm like a complete newbie here. I'm most active in the Suggestions and Ideas forum, so when people see me post in other topics, they don't know who I am ^^'.

    To own someone, first you must spell their name right.

    Err not too sudle are you? Trust me, noone can be the best at anything, there is always one (usually much much more) person better than you.

    Although if you want to see some real serious skulks (among others) you have to play on the CoFR server. This server has an extremely high level of skill and teamwork, and if you really want to test yourself go there. We have a few skulks that are very good, such as Magitek, Minstrel Knight, and =SID=Sin.

    BTW are you the guy who tried to argue sensory chambers are better than Defense chambers?

    <on topic> sure, I'm a vet i guess</on topic>

    The post count thing i find funny. I don't have very many posts at all, but I see people who joined in April with 2-3x more posts than me. Some people just spam. Most times I read through a topic, I find that someone has made the same point that I would have before I could. At this point, some people make their post anyway, I do not. I'll probably set my personal record for posts in one thread with this matrix thread.

    I've broke that bubble that calf has on it when born (placenta?) with a shovel. That was just about the grossest thing i've ever seen.
