I also always got the impression that the overlord's body was less "pile of mashed potatos"-shaped, and more "giant lima bean"-shaped. From the side, that is.
the problem is there is 2 versions of the overlord. the classic one is really small. 100*100 pixel pictures. The detailed one looks completely different in its details. So im triing to make a good looking one in between.
I think actually the side of it looks like a pile of mashed potatos. Just take a look at the picture below. With a decent skin you should be able to make the body look like that.
Just one thing with the model, I think it needs a few more spikes.

Legs, arms, mouth 100% redone. Everything else 75% redone. Mesh and Bone system without assignment included. 1426 polygons Once again just fine adjustment needed (maybe 2 tiny bugs, one in the mouth one in the neck). mdl file:
yea that and you should scale the beak thing bigger... they are like 2 times the size of the head in starcraft althought that might look dubm so just a bit bigger. when u are done, please post a locked down version of it, so that i can animate it. what i mean by locked down version is that no further changes will be made on that version. because once the vertices are assigned to the bones, any changes no matter how insignificant will distort animations.
that would have to be hard coded. Can't wait to see what the animes will look like. Hudson if u dont mind i'd like to test with you this time around?
