anyhoo...i really want to see the characters they haven't introduced yet, like night crawler and colossus.

Seen it, such a great fanboy movie.

Colossus
Nightcrawler
Pyro
Lady Deathstrike

Pick up on the easter eggs such as Gambit and Beast ;o

They leave it SOOOOOOOOO wide open for a sequel though.

I was in a sneak preview yesterday, not because I'm a particular fan of the comics, but because the alternative was a flick entitled 'Goodbye, Lenin!'...

It's pretty good, better than any other comic adaption I've seen thus far (whether that means something good is up to your interpretation). I guarantee you that you'll sit through the first minutes just thinking one word: "Fade."

I also hear Jubilee has a more active role in this one, in X-Men 1 you see her for a few seconds in one of the school scenes with Rogue, but she doesnt really say anything.
But yes I am anticipating this movie very, very much!

Well, if you couldn't already tell from the avatar name, I'm eagerly waiting for my friday afternoon matinee show.

There is so much interesting stuff in the X-Men comics, but that can also be said of quite a few others as well. Let's put it this way, I don't much care if the movies turn out to be entirely something else than what was in the comics, as long as they build deep characters, have major action sequences, and have a story that doesn't suddenly take "plot twists" in directions they didn't build up to.

Hmm, I wonder when I am going to get to watch a Weapon X, Team 17, Gen13, or Alpha Flight movie.

Someone who has seen the movie tell me this in just a yes or no, as to not give away too many spoilers:

Does rogue somehow get her flying & strength powers (through Miss Marvel, or whoever it was she took em from, or maybe something different for the movie) in this movie, or is she still a helpless damselle in distress again?

P.S. Nightcrawler > almost all

Oh, its the scene (various parts of scenes that make up this scene) when Prof X is talking to Wolverine, and Rogue is in the classroom geting friendly with Iceman and Pyro. "Welcome to Mutant High" Hmm, she may also be one of the characters running past in the hallway in some scenes, I'm not entirely sure on that though. Oh, but she, Jubilee, does have a line (she talks) in some of the extra footage on the dvd.

Oh, and just for a bit of useless info, I recall seeing a colorful "Hello Kitty" tatoo just above the crack of a particularily cute stripper's buttocks...

haha. In Australia it came out April 30.

To all of you who haven't seen it: Nightcrawler rocks.
Jubilee wasn't in it at all, and Rogue doesn't get her extra powers..

But still no Gambit.

I saw this film Friday night and as much as I loved it - especially Wolverine actually killing people (and a special appearance by Peter Wingfield) - it didn't feel as great as its first film. Magneto, for example, just acted everyone offstage in part one.But not here. At least Beast appeared in this sequel - or should I say "appeared". And Gambit got a mention.

True.

But I hope this one isn't as bad as the first one. It didn't have the X-Men feel to it.

And pfft. Stryker? Puny human? Why not Apocalypse, the virus, heck even the Juggernaut.
