Pistols, preferably ones heavier then 9mm but lighter then magnum calibers (.40S&W and 10mm for example.) Light, not much recoil, and enough power to knock someone down.
I looooooove to use vehicles as weapons i.e. running someone down with a jeep in BF1942. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
#1 Swords: Laser-sharpened Katana or a...Lightsaber. Or the Wind blade from Onimusha. I want one of the Wind Blades
#2 Rail gun: Not one of those wussy ones from Quake's. I'm talking the ones mounted on a 55 ton Bushwhacker Mech. Or the one in which you have to deploy it into the ground to fire.
#3 Pistols: Specifically a .454 Casull, as used by Dante and Alucard. and a nice shiny pair of black Desert Eagle .50AE's
#4 Mechs: A walking tank with enough firepower to level a country. I specially like Bushwhackers and Daishi's
(Boom) <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> Dude, do they even make 8 guages? What the fook would they be used for, I mean 10 gauges are RARE and I think they use those for huting kodiak bears or something.
As for my favorite weapon, nunchaku are the shiznit, so much finesse, so much class. Nothing says "WOOOOO" like a good pair of 'chuks'.

Pistols own you. Hardcore.
I leik tosig pai ta poepel.
Seriously, I use any weapons that are stylish, conservative, stealthy and, if at all possible, non-lethal. For example, I played though the entire first level of Deus Ex using only the baton, riot prod and tranquilizer darts just to see if I could passify everyone on the level without killing anyone. Very, very fun.
Throwing knives = teh win, as do silenced pistols, compact SMGs, sniper rifles, etc. Big, flashy guns stink.
If I'm not mistaken, it's an update of the AK-47, and made of polymr instead of wood (in places). It fires 5.56 NATO (proper ammo as my friend called it [gun junkie]). Plus it has an anti-recoil system fir better accuracy in bursts and full auto. <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo-->
I can't forget a tricked out golden deagle with a dragon in the handle, but that would be reserved for Castor Troy. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

M82A1 Anti-Materiel sniper rifle, or the Steyr Aug (FireArms 2.5! Hoo-ah!)
With that out of the way, I'd personally go for a bamboo hanbo. Haven't had any training with the full bo. Bamboo so it's springy enough to really HURT with some moves, but still light enough to not have *too* much momentum.
Throwing knives are decent (I go with a set of three claw-blade Hibbens, myself) but take a good amount of practice to use properly... PITA to keep them from hitting handle-first, even with specifically blade-weighted knives.
Ninjato for me, due to the high degree of versatility it provides. Katana are more for being displayed in my mind, than actually used in any real-world setting. Same with nodachi and (to a lesser degree) naginata.
I would have to say the kind that really feel like they're getting the job done. Like the akimbo-enforcers in UT. The Pulse-Rifle in AvP2 and the preditors combi-stick were very nice too. I loved being the pred and beheading a squad of six marines while cloaked without taking a single bullet.
Also the high-tech expermental weapons have a soft spot with me. Like the gauss and displacement guns from HL.
I guess you could call it a mobile weapons platform? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

The knife never needs reloading.
The knife is lighter than most, if not all firearms.
The knife is smaller than almost any firearm.
The knife can be concealed in a sleeve, boot, or belt holster.
The knife freaks the hell out of people.
The knife is silent.
The knife can be thrown.
The knife can pierce a kevlar jacket.
The knife never runs out of ammo.
The throats of 1000 men can be slit by a running man with a knife.
