No One Lives Forever 2 I love the chase music in India, and the theme song Homeworld had some great music. Very atmospheric. Total Annihilation has awesome music. All epic orchestrated tracks. Fallout had some nice tunes, mostly Homeworldish ambience. Command & Conquer (Mainly Act on Instinct and some others.) Red Alert Hell March and some others. I've got the CD and put some tracks in my Tribes2 playlist. Descent-Descent 2 had some nice tunes, also in my Tribes2 playlist. Deus Ex was very catchy. I loved the Hong Kong market music. Metroid Prime has some good music. I love the Tallon Overworld music. Super Metroid has some of the best VG music ever. All Mega Man games have good music. Skies of Arcadia has a few good tunes. Mostly the darker music, the rest is too cheery.
I'll have to agree that Tom Clancy games have good soundtracks. I love that style of music. Giants is also nice. Oh, and the BF1942 music, and Desert Combat mod menu music.
Homeworld FF7 Starcraft and Broodwar Turrican 1+2+3 Deus Ex -_Phoenix_- how dare you forget Cannon Fodder!
If you want to hear the original soundtracks for Super NES/NES/GameBoy/Sega Genesis/Playstation/2 others that I have no idea what they are, go to this site: http://www.zophar.net/index.phtml
Final Fantasy 3/6 had great musak. The last boss music for FF: Mystic Quest is also great(well, imo.) And many many others... EDIT: BTW, I do not think you need WinAMP to play those files, and it's not midi files, there are special file formats, like for snes its .spc, and for nes its .nsf, they sound EXACTLY like the originals(to me)!
