Clipping errors: how to correct them?

On a recent compile of ns_penumbra I picked up a few clipping errors. These errors cause invisible portions of space to be solid, and in my case made a few invisible bumps on the floor around some desks.
I know that moving some of the objects in the room around a bit /might/ remove the error, or cause it to change position, but I'm wondering if there's another way to solve this?

if u have "hidden" something in worldcraft, and compile the map, the thing u have hidden becomes an invisible barrier
