The best way to boost your fellow armies up is to go to comprox's NSarmy page at <a href='http://www.kingsofchaos.com/page.php?id=482682' target='_blank'>http://www.kingsofchaos.com/page.php?id=482682</a> then click to view NSarmy's profile, you'll see all the different armies, and how many soldiers everyone has. As you can see I'm near the bottom of the list. Bronski could do with a few clicks, just copy the id number and put it where the xxxxxx is below
If all your troops are attacking and you have an offense bonus of 200k, you might be able to kill <i>one</i> of his guys. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
With that many soldiers, I'm assuming he's getting well over 250,000 gold <i>per turn</i>. All that gold has got to go somewhere - most likely weapons and armor.
Yes but at the same time you weaken his ability to defend himself, he'll eventually find it hard to fend off attackers and proportionately lose more than people with armies less than a quarter of his size.

You can only attack armies up to five times your size, Error. NSArmy would have to do a good bit of growing before they can even *think* about taking him on.
Heh.. though I'm about to break 10K attack bonus. I'm just a can of pointy-eared whoop-*ss. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
(edit) Dang it, Sycophant... gain about 30 more troops already, so I can attack you! Comprox is tired of me taking his lunch-money already. ^_^ (/edit)

Well, at least I know what I'll be up against in a few days - an army with an offense bonus of about 10,000. Once I get near the point where you can start attacking me, I'll try and remember to re-train all my dwarves in Defense. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

do you upgrade your fortress (walled town and such) by getting siege upgrades? I always thought it was your unit production (even the faq says that) but it isn't, I spent 50,000 clams on it and I'm still in a camp!

Uh.. no. The FAQ says that defensive Siege upgrades increase your unit production. Which they do. It does not say that unit production upgrades increase your Siege defense.
Sycophant.. you've made a mistake this evening. You will be repaying that 27K you took for a good while, and a few times over.. if need be, I will lower my army size specifically to allow myself to attack you and keep your gold at zero. Trifle not with the elves. For they are short of temper and large of knife.
<a href='http://www.kingsofchaos.com/viewprofile.php?id=321366' target='_blank'>http://www.kingsofchaos.com/viewprofile.php?id=321366</a> <----- This is my arch enemy, I just started attacking him for the reason of makeing his life liveing hell, and he retaliated, stol 20000 of my gold, I will keep on attacking him, but If one of you higher ups could beat his units to a bloody pulp I would be gratefull. ( I also think he might be a multi-accounter because his commander has a similar name, though I could be wrong) But lets get this guy for all he's worth, please.

Considering that I just had over 300K stolen in a single raid, I'm more annoyed at another right now... and the action-lag.
Then again, against my roughly 120K attack, he did back nearly 650K. Let it be said that he won't likely be suffering any form of retribution any time soon.
(edit)Though I'm feeling at least a little bit better, now that I've got my Fortress.. and know that I raped out over 700,000gp in less than a half-hour, with only around 70 attacks. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> (/edit)

Just got my stronghold, and increased my unit production to 9, as soon as I get dynamite I will kill my arch-enemy (look at previous post). I'm gonna save up 3 days worth of attacks and kill him MUHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA!:A!!!

Only way to increase your attack turns instantly is to take a nap. When you wake up, *poof*.. you have a few more.
Mercenaries die first, before any of your clicked soldiers do... also worth noting, All-Purpose soldiers die before trained ones. And it doesn't track which are mercs and which are direct-clicked... so buying 5 Offense Mercs, having ten All-Purpose, and having three die... you're left with 5 offense units, and seven All-purpose, with two units counting as Mercs. Mercs are buyable cannon-fodder, in other words. They're also a good, cheap way to increase your income in the short-term, or to bleed off excess funds if you want to keep your cashflow low. Though it's MUCH harder to do, now that they reset the Merc pool and there are none available excepting in the minute after they refresh.. and the cheaters' buy-bots come through and **** them all up in the space of thirty seconds, regardless of what time in the day or night it may be. (Yes, I'm annoyed.. stayed up until 5:00am trying to buy some freaking Mercs, but they all end up bought out before my purchase can register.)

hee hee hee! I just nabbed 7, may not seem to be a lot, but when you consider how fast they go, and how many rungs up the officer ladder that raised me, its well... a lot <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
I can <i>sometimes</i> nab a few mercenaries if there are less than 1500 people online, but even that's rare.
Checked just then, my next turn is in 28 minutes, and there are <b>no</b> mercenaries available. There used to be several thousand Defensive units stockpiled, but I guess they reset them every turn. Even a few dozen defensive mercs would be a great purchase. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

then go to that URL to give them a soldier!
Btw, don't bother clicking mine, I'm saving for a fortress, I want to be the most powerful in my level!

currently have stronghold and ladders and 98 troops.
I also have some other attack hardware, but as soon as I get my dynamite, I'll get several steeds and make my defense about 20,000
