Crazy *undead* Lerk

<div class="IPBDescription">i couldnt believe this....</div> alright guys this is what happend...i was on this server playing w/a friend we were messing around...on the map hera...we made to make an agreement.....to not attack each other until we were ready...well i got outside the base by the glass tube part by skulking in the cieling and hitting /stuck that threw me up on top. from there i switched to lerk flew around for a bit got on the ground etc. then i accidently crashed to the ground...i had died but i had 29 armor left. i was wondering why i wasnt respawning, too my suprise i was actually still alive! i could flap my wings and go every where just im on my side.....odd little bug.... any if you had this happen to them?

This is a HL engine bug. Sometimes you stay alive with 0 health.
Seen this many times in CS , sometimes in NS and rarely in other mods.

Diing in NS is different and most times you have "auto healing".
This makes it just worse.

I think this happened to me before when I was a skulk, I got shot and went down to zero but I had redem so I stayed alive, I was suprised to say the least.

This has happend to me once when I was lerk with regen. The screen tilted as it would normally if you die but immeadietly it untilted and I was alive! And since a lerk who's alive and a dead lerk looks very similar I guess the marines didn't realise that I still lived so I could escape. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

Sure. It's happened to me before. I was a lerk, and it was in the middle of a fire-fight. I was flapping a long in mid-air and the marine shot me down, I began to fall, then Regeneration kicked in, and I was still alive. By the time I came back alive, I was already saying my 'goddammits' and was killed a second time. It was strange, for the dying lerk sound was played when I died, and came back alive, and played again when I died a second time.

I've talked to more than a handful of people that know about this bug. I guess it just never really bothered anyone until now.

I've survived once or twice like this, both as a lerk I think. My view never resets though, so I end up flying around trying to bite everyone while seeing the world at 90 degrees to the vertical
