I am going to make this brief. Ollj took the egg and took the Queen and decided he wanted to be the one to animate both. what he failed to mention is that he is not as dedicated to finishing these jobs as we all would hope. last I saw him in my IRC channel he told me that he had map deadlines to meet and this was more than 2 weeks ago and he has not been in the channel since.
All I can say Ollj is fine if you have other priorities, but why bite off more than you can chew? you have all these people rallying around to make this into something it may never be, and all it acomplishes is anxiety and frustration on the end-users part. as well as collaborators on this project.
As far as the queen is concerned Yes you can use it now, but you can never kill it by aiming at it.
Concerning the EGG nobody asked really for more features like opening and such to be added we just wanted simple anims in facilitate release.
while the work is great and we all love Ollj for stepping up to bat. iDo any of you remember the story about Casey at bat?
this is a FORMAL announcement and a new post will be created for Daphisto's and my E&C work - "looking for an animator" - ANY ANIMATORS willing to commit to the completion please contact Daphisto or Myself.
As for Wad edits they are a complete waste of time due too embedded textures - more on that later.

I still have high hopes for this model. well maybe not so high.. Id say if you were on viaduct somewhere around the catwalk compared to the roof... huh whatever but I still am hoping that someday maybe this model will possibly perhaps come out by any chance and get released I hope...

Daphisto, remember, you've got alarge following, a great deal of respect, and an un-countable number of people that voulenteer their time to help you release anything you come up with...
in other words, if you send me something, and say "do only this one thing please...." i'de do it, only because you've earn a LARGE amount of respect from me.

2nd rate modeling 4th rate skinning 10th rate skin meshing 2nd rate webdesign 3-4th rate animating (i understand the principles, but lack the practice) 1st rate file turn-out (from thread to website)
To the people that got the broken/damaged (for some reason finished) file from NSCentral... do you have any idea howNSC got a hold of the hive, and why they produced an unfinished modle, or why the compressed file won't work.
and then this is attached... Designed by: Daphisto (modified by Ikariya) Description: Alien skins designed by Daphisto, by modified by Ikaryia with metal sheen and dried blood.
Who is Ikaryia, did he finish the modle in some way? Why does he suck so much at compressing files?
The entire package confuses me... there's a lot of files in that download and only some of the sounds are real. It's like the thing was going to be an entire conversion pack.
