I seem to have time warped to jan 4th
How come? Admins? It doesn't break anything, but I get a surprise each time! What, 4th already? Oh, it's 3rd really. Whew.

Ever think that the board is set for a different time zone than you?

I set my timezone to GMT+1. It now claims that I am entering this at 5.31 am in the morning on january 5th. It's 4.30 pm only. And it's january 4th. I think they barely made 3.30 am at the date line in the pacific right now....

The dates are officially wrecked. Just don't pay attention to them.

I think I know the perfectly simple explanation of this.

In december we had lots of board downage, I suspect now that what REALLY happened was the board's server simply wandered off down the wrong legs of the trousers of time. Took a bit of work and time to find out where it went and fix the links. So now we are in the left leg while the board is in the right leg, somewhere above the knee - slightly ahead and a bit to the right of reality. (Depends on whether you look at the trousers or wear them. Because then they'd swap sides you know - my left is your right). Nothing serious except the disorientating effect it has on posters.

This is absolutely not true. Would you now please look into this red light while I take my sunglasses out?

Lets just hope the Board Admins can see the problem in the Mandala. (Hows that for a Discworld reference? )

Pretty good. It had me going "The what?". I'll hafta leaf through some books tonight so I can stay afloat in the high brow spatiotemporal theory discussions here

Edit: hmm this perhaps belongs in off topic by now

no way man, this is on topic... it might just be a simple fix that somebody has not bothered to get around to. good to point it out to somebody who can do something about it.

    btw, what is Pratchett?

This is obviously the work of the dark one, MonsE. He's been hiding behind his desk waiting for us to cry his name (and creating his own job security).
