Unfortunately, Daphisto, they'd have to be made from scratch, 'cause that's all I got to work with from AvP2.
Good job, Bots. I hope you get that ready for release soon, while this thread's still relatively fresh.
Is there any chance we are going to see a "fixed" version of this shotty soon (one that has proper re-load animations). That would be fantastic as it's my favourite model in the game... specially with the avp hands.
JIN ROH!!!!!!!!! SHEENA I WUB U!!!! JIN ROH JIN ROH!!1 (that heavy armor / model he's working on is from that anime Jin Roh. It r0x0rz.) Can man rise above the level of a mere beast? NO! MUAHAHA he pwned lotso ppl with that sweet machine gun. Dude, sheena if you can model his gun, that would be even more sweetage. (btw I got the DVD along with Akira for christmas) =D *turns off excited 13 year old girl mode* cool model.

why not just takin the mg42 from DOD...its pretty nice done... i dont model this armor as gamingmodel.. its for a 3d animation... theres already a jin roh armor for.. for.. what is that crap called? cs? (dont hurt me)someone have to convert it.. and the aliens a wolf for the skulk.. and molotov throwing terrorists for the fades
Why did you shrink it? It looks like the shotgun from avp2 only the front the rest looks like it was stolen of something else. If you can make another one try to leave it bulky.

Since the AvP2 receiver cuts off too short at the back, it would've left a nice gaping hole where polies should've been, so I took the receiver off a Mossberg. Mercatorn helped me big time by making the AvP2 receiver texture fit the Mossberg receiver.
Before doing that, I tried to change the origins, but it never seemed to work in the test compiles I did. Magically, now that I've finished the model and done my final compilations, the origins seem to be nicely off to the right, where you wouldn't have seen the empty space at the back of the AvP2 receiver, if I hadn't put a Mossberg one there instead. Go figure. At least it works.
You may have seen pictures of the original AvP2 shotgun in its untouched state with a big rectangular black hole at the bottom of the receiver. That was due to horrible texture coordination, which I fixed, so you won't see it here. That was actually supposed to be the ejector slot, which is higher up on the model.

That's why it looks different than the avp2 shotgun
How about just releasing the skin files so we can apply them to whatever model we chose?
And I made the Mossberg receiver the same size as the AvP2 one. Unfortunately, because I was using the Mossberg, I had to deal with a much larger ejection port, which makes the rest of the side look diminutive in comparison.
how come it wont play the c0cking sound when u shoot it?
