Post Your NS Screenshots and Prove it!
In another thread we got onto the subject of graphics cards. It would be interesting to see what NS renders look like on the latest graphics cards.
If you feel like getting some sympathy then maybe post some really bad renders on a really crap graphics card to make everyone feel better.

But it was weird, when I was playing Tribes 2 and got a new graphics card, the little tunnel thing sthat u fly up to get to the other levels fo the base, they were shiny then, so it was odd
So I wanna see if there's something I'm missing as well
Bump mapping is the latest buzz word in the arsenal of people who dont know **obscenity** about **obscenity** (including me).
Its a way of mapping objects so that they appear to have grooves and bumps instead of just teaxtures. Its looks mighty fine, but noone has seemed to be able to perfect it yet.

sorry for the quantity or quality, i couldnt get any good scences to take pics of.
getting a nice looking render with 2 fps doesnt really mean much
Also, seems like NS looks considerably better in 32 bit. I usually play 16bit, but I got the latest nVidia driver and decided to try 32bit, and everything is just as fast, but seems richer.

Those are the only things that I have found that higher quality video cards can enhance.
Note: Some of the color was changed during conversion to .jpg, so bear with it.

This isn't Half-Life (Duh), but UT2K3 on a GeForce 4 TI 4600. With sexy liquid lighting. Half-Life only gets so good, and all those other screens look just like what mine looks like. But here's your bump mapping!
you suck at lying.
And by the way, UT2k3 doesn't have bump mapping.
And like I said, UT2k3 doesn't have bump mapping, if you didn't notice my edit.

Oh and Surge, what is that level? Ns_CoffeeHouse? Looks like a coffee mug on a table and a door with a doorknob in the background
How's that?
Okay, NS now:

That would probably be the geforce2.
What are your system specs? Maybe other things are slowing your card down. Not to mention its the mx series, i think the best one is the TI series. Not 100 percent sure though.

Kinda Dark, but that's the ready room of some map (Still can't match name with map yet)

Spores going off in the background, this is the lowest FPS I've ever had

extremely dark, but it's just fine in game

For the HL engine, that is all!
UT2003 can do environmental bump-mapping.
