actually, you don't NEED to knock out/kill *any* of the guards. though it sure is fun ^_^
here's something i just found last night too. the guy i the lab that you can interrogate, if you take interrogate him in the first 'lab' room first, THEN take him to the morgue kinda near the corpses, and interrogate him again, he gives a 2nd interrogation that's even cooler than the first.

heh.
And I dunno why all of you are running into so many bugs except for those of you w/ crappy computers. :/ the thing runs flawlessly on my machine, which isn't even that great by todays standards (at least, the CPU): 1.4ghz, 512MB RAM, GF4 ti4400. I need to upgrade my cpu :/
The only bug I ran into at all is where I somehow still had the unconscious lab worker in a the strangle hold and was interrogating him, but it was just saying my part since the other guy was knocked out.. heh.
sneak behind them w/o them being in 'alerted' mode (i.e. they haven't seen you directly) and then a "Grab Character" option comes up where the other options (Open, Body, Use COmputer, etc) are. just hit your use key (or whatever it is) and that'll grab em. Some characters you can even interrogate (the lab worker for example), and an "interrogate" option appears. again, use key interrogates em.
If you need to shoot somebody else you can still go into 'aiming' mode and shoot people, though other enemies will start to fire upon you as soon as your gun is no longer pointed at their friend's head.
when you are done w/ your hostage, simply hit primary fire to pistol whip em unconscious, and they'll drop to the floor asleep like a baby. a bullet in the eyes always makes sure they don't wake up :)
well despite all the bad sides, I played through whole demo and it just didnt appeal to me at all
Doom , I believe you DO have to KO that guy in the surveilance room, otherwise it is totally impossible to get to the computer without him shooting you and such. If you can find a way to do it W/O ANY KOs at all, I'll give you a cookie.
Anyway, I just beat my own challenge. I set off no alarms, no guards drew their guns, except for that guy in the surveilance room that needs to be hit.
ONly evidence I left behind was a broken Camera and an unconcious cop. Oooh-Rah!
I've always loved Tom Clancy games - I'm more of an RTS gamer, but I do like the occasional FPS. His tactical shooters give me FPS with tactical planning - gotta love it.
My dad is a HUGE Tom Clancy fan, and like 3 years ago, he was telling me how dumb games had gotten after DOOM II. Then he saw that Tom Clancy, the man himself, was liscencing(sp? I hate that word) his novels for games. That shut him up.
I was so hyped up for the first Rainbox Six because you actually got to plan out your missions. I got the game and spent a good hour and a half mapping everything out, only to have my guys get stuck on walls and run into bushes in 2 minutes.
I loved Ghost Recon so much because it still had a lot of tactical planning, but it was all done on the fly. Just wish it had some kind of a storyline/ending to it.

Edit: If anyone cares, I think the game is one of the best looking things ever, and I'm on a 600MHz. So shut up.

An article in Computer games monthly also hinted at weapon customization and upgrading, which should be cool.
