Epic games subnautica crashes on startup

Hello. I'm currently playing subnautica on the epic games version. Here's my problem. Each time I launch it, it crashes . There is a black screen with the blue game cursor and a message saying "The game crashed". I've tried everything!! I've updated my gpu drivers, verified game installation and reinstalled the game but it won't fix. Please, if you can help me, comment the solution.

Could try nuking your settings folder, see if that helps.I believe there's a post about that somewhere on here, probably in Bug Reporting but also possibly here in General Discussion.
