Hi
Have built a exosuit and now find that when i walk around i fall through the map.
is this an on going problem or just my pc game setup.
I now cannot travel 400 mtrs back to my pod because of it.
Any one else having this issue.
I am near the shallows/basic exosuit/no mods/very little done so far/pc drivers up to date.
thanks.

If you're using low-end settings the game doesn't pop in the proper meshes for a bit. It takes a bit of load time but the LOD textures will eventually switch over and allow you to walk on the surface.

I've had this happen myself twice over at the mountain island.... the walkway between the gun and the mountain itself like you're heading to the archway.

If you have an SSD, make a Steam Library on that, restart Steam, go to Subnautica > Properties > Local Files and switch it to the SSD. Much faster load which will prevent a lot of this. Other than that, it's wait for optimization.

Thanks guys i think thats it .poping textures .
I have a slow hard drive and that's most likely the problem.
I will have to slow down a bit lol.
    Thanks

If you're stuck on a spinny disk, try defragmenting it. (Search defrag from the Start Menu). That will help some if it's fragmented.

I have a high-end pc with an SSD and I still get stuck or clip through objects.

    Try using the launch option
    -window-mode exclusive

with and without V-Sync, see if you can get a performance boost there.
