I honestly never thought I'd see something like this happen, let alone on Reddit, of all places - people coming together to encourage everyone to buy the game and support the devs rather than get a pirated copy. I think it speaks volumes about the quality of the game itself, and about the quality of the people who play it. And just look at the upvotes each of the positive comments receives. I was honestly speechless when I stumbled upon this thread.

What does PR team mean? And by "Their Steam reviews turned around significantly immediately before launch" do you mean with good reviews, or the bad ones? Hopefully good!
Yeah, UWE totally has a PR team.. hiding under camouflaged Peeper blankets.
If anything, the similar comments are from users who would normally not comment anything, but since they love the game, they copied someone else's blurb, or gave a generic one-liner. It also helps that Steam is featuring Subnautica on the front page of the Store at this point (thank you, GabeN).
