I meant, it's about as epic as it gets considering he's actively looking for the thing. xD Although I suppose a Reaper grabbing you from behind is unnerving no matter what the circumstances.
(you may want to turn your volume down for this one; he's already a bit on edge from discovering that Sandsharks are aggressive)
Good ole' 8-bit. Never change, Ryan, never change.
Been watching his playlist, lots of fun - his freakouts over things are great. Ep18 when a reaper grabs him inn the Crash Zone at night I feel so bad in saying I laughed quite hard at that XD
I wonder if there's going to be any 'failsafes' for if you um.... Well have happen to you what happened to him. His cyclops runs out of power in the lava zone and he has ZERO way to get back to the surface, but keeps respawning in his cyclops. I haven't had this happen in a very very long while, but in cases like that does it just pop you into your base / lifepod?
I breathed a forlorn sigh when I saw him go into the old Deep Grand - ILZ opening, and again later when he's leaving the ILZ then is like "Omg I can come through here too?" as he pops out at the Crash Zone. Welp, if we ever get map editing tools.... ^^;
I've not gone down to the Lost River and below, but I still think the most irritating and greatest threat are the Bonesharks. And that's after having several encounters with Crabsnakes (including being grabbed) in this game in the Jellyshroom Caves (no Reinforced Dive Suit or Hull Reinforcement either). Just did a run to Lifepod 7 in the Crags Field after visiting the Floating Isle. Damn Bonesharks come in packs, lots of them. On the way back I counted over 10 in under 1 minute. There at least I had the Hull Reinforcement or I'd have come close to losing the Seamoth.

Have you encountered crabsquids yet? They can outrun a cyclops ON FLANK SPEED, can disable electronics, CLIP THROUGH TERRAIN, not to mention they're as creepy as hell. I HATE them, if you couldn't tell. I'm thnking of making "the top 5 creatures in SN that piss me off" as a video to poke fun at Anthomina. I kinda hate him too. Stupid clickbaity videos about the atlas sub...

Yeah, I've run into Crabsquids. When I've gone down to the Degassi Base in the Deep Grand Reef, which I've only done in I think 2 games. Also remember them from a trip to the North Blood Kelp Zone. Yep, there's damn irritating. But they're also in fewer zones than the Bonesharks. Of course, once you get outside the early game zones, if it's not got leviathans, it definitely has Bonesharks or Crabsquids. Sometimes 2 or all 3.

Not really, one grabbed me from behind in the mountians once. My reaction:

Me: (flatly) Shove off.
*SHOCK*
I wish I could be that calm xD As it is the only time I'm ever remotely calm when leviathans are nearby is when I'm in the exosuit - not even the defense system on the seamoth will make me not break down into a nervous wreck when being in reaper territory ;v;
Side-note, sighed once again when Ryan was trying to get into the ILZ and was roaming around the Deep Grand Reef asking "Wait, where'd the entrance go?"

That's one of the funniest videos I've watched this year.
