What do you think of the Cyclops' floodlight rays?

I find the rays from the Cyclops' external lights to washout many details in the dark. While they illuminate surfaces up close fine, I find I can no longer make out far away details I was able to. The Seamoth and Prawn's lights don't give me that problem. So I end up using them in only absolute to very dark conditions.

Would actually be cool to have other vision modes like thermal and night vision. Hint, hint, devs :)
