Theory about the fossilized creature in the lost river

The Skeleton perfectly resembles a boneshark. I know what you're thinking, the Boneshark is so small! It doesn't necessarily have to be a, boneshark directly, it could be a ancestor of the boneshark, being much larger and only present in the lost river, but then couldn't navigate in the lost river well, so it got smaller and smaller through evolution. With that it lost its ablility to survive in the lost river, so it migrated to other different biomes. This is just a theory, and I noticed it when I was building a base next to it.

That doesn't look like a Boneshark. Bonesharks are much slimmer than that. Not to mention that the Data Entry calls it a skull rather than a full body. Also not to mention the fact that the skeleton doesn't have a tail.

Was going to post comparison Boneshark pic. Was too lazy. Instead clicked Agree on your post.

That skull thing is just something Tom (the writer) got wrong. It's pretty clearly meant to be most of a skeleton, with only the small front part being a skull.
