Hi all, unfortunately last time i have tried to play with this save (my principal one) the world appear very strange, like water has no texture, and it's pretty unplayable, the game works fine on new games.

This is how it appears :

So far i have tried :
- Restarting the game, and the computer
- Deleting the caches from the savefile folder
- Messing around in the console graphics options
- Typing fog into the console

I reach for help since i have 15 hours in the game and is the save without any cheat and i would really like not to lose it! :pensive:

Files:

DxDiag : https://pastebin.com/rQUCkmvk
Outputlog: https://pastebin.com/USadyUA9
Zipfile with the folder: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6PUt05vXzI8RHlRNVpKbUM5Z1U

Thanks in advance for any help! This is the first time i am playing the game following *lore* and a research approach,as i said earlier i hope i can recover this savefile!26ehbha6baxy.jpg

Did you accidentally turn water volume off in the debug settings?

    Happy diving ;)

My other observations of this bug:
    • The workaround is not permanent. The bug comes back again, no idea atm which situation is the cause for it.
    • If you have a Cyclops: board it and the problem is also gone.
    • If you save the game inside the Cyclops then you start the next time without this bug.

Got it,stupid question tho,if this problem presents itself again,is this workaround going to Work again?
    Thanks again!

Yes, that's working. Every time you get this bug you can do my workarounds with F3-debug-window or Cyclops.

Just for completeness: personally i never touched this setting. It is really a bug and exists since the Silent Running update. It only occurs when a game is loaded. But not if you saved the game inside Cyclops.
