Has Anyone Been Able to Recover a Save?

I've been able to recover one but I don't know if anyone else has.
I've started a new freedom save (11hrs) and I just built a Cyclops.
My saves usually die after I build a PRAWN.
When the save goes err... kaput , I'll try to recover it also.

After the infected update my save was converted by the update and worked for a few days and then died. I recently lost a save with over 100 hours on it so I'm done trying till they fix it.

Once, which it was actually a save 30 minutes prior to where my save file was corrupted. This was after the C&C update but before Infected. After the Infected update I had another corrupted save, so I tried the exact same steps I had used before to recover the my save file, but was unable to successfully repeat the process.

My recovered save was still working after the Null update.
I had started a new save to try to corrupt it.
It took only 6hrs.
I was unable to recover it.

I had stayed online, used the forum, then reloaded the save.
Repaired the Comm Relay, scanned many items, read many PDAs
used the pause menu to quit to the Main menu, etc.
Generally everything I learned not to do after the C&C update.
Yesterday I deleted the local saves including the 2 day old recovered
save I had used to visit the Alien Thermal Plant in the ILZ.
I hope I get to it see it again. I able was to find the Alien Cache B site.

what I do start new game offline save it go back online system presents options because multiple synced files appear. I'll just pick earlier known working save from list rolling things back to working state.

I wish I had that option.
In the last few minutes 11:00 PST Wed Mar 4 2017, SN has started to sync with XBLive eventhough I
started SN WHILE UNPLUGED!
1st time ever. Yes I'm aware of the bad grammar.
