I've just purchased Subnautica and downloaded it from steam 2 days ago but I'm having issues where it wont even launch.
My computer should be compatibe, I've tried uninstalling and installiing again
Please upload any information you can find from the following:
Your dxdiag output ("Save All Information...")
Your output_log.txt
Any crash folders (in the Subnautica folder, beginning with a date)
If you need help, check out the instructions for "uploading your saved game file" in the second line of my signature below. (Yes, I know that's not exactly what you're trying to do, but the instructions will be the same except only upload the required information from the list I just made.)

ok, trying to do that. i cant find the 'dxdiag output' or the crash folders (although when i just search my whole laptopfor 'subnautica' i get a heap of them pop up)
I've noticed i dont have the 'Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames' folder which from the instructions is where they should be.
I have found the output_log.txt
edit: ive reread it and realised i read the location of the crash folders are wrong, theyre still not there unless i search for them though. and the crash folders im finding are in a whole different location
Looks like you don't have any dated crash folders (that's not a bad thing)
We'll want your Subnautica\Subnautica_Data\output_log.txt as well as your dxdiag output (run dxdiag, click "Save All Information..." and save the file as dxdiag.txt on your Desktop or something).
Also, get Speccy and choose File > Publish snapshot, then hit "Yes" to publish, and copy the snapshot URL to your post as well.
So you should have (upload the txt files to Google Drive or Dropbox, share them, and post the sharing URL):

I couldn't figure out how to get 7zip to work because I wasn't able to do the step involving the file in the save game folder I dont have, so they aren't compressed but hopefully you can still use them as is
Nuts. According to the speccy file (I didn't see any other files), you're on an Intel card. Can you post what GPU-Z says about your graphics? (Click the camera in the top-right)
Down at the bottom of the GPU-Z box, see where it says "Intel(R) HD Graphics" ? It looks like that is a drop down box. Can you check if there is another GPU available, and if so, switch to that and post a screenshot of it?
Just checked, the drop down only has the one option
Yuck... Intel integrated graphics generally suck (I'm stuck on an HD 530 until I get a new card). Did Subnautica ever run for you before now?
ah ok, that sucks then. I've never had it running, I've only just purchased it so this is the only computer I've tried it on, my only other option of computer would be one it definitely wouldnt be able to run on so unfortunately i can't try it on another
