Question about updating my build?

Hey so for the longest time I was wondering why I couldn't enter the Precursor Research Lab or whatever in the Lost River and I just figured out why that is but Now I don't know how to fix it... So basically it's says i'm still using a February 2017 update and I believe they opened the Research Lab in the infected update that was in march, the problem im having is that steam or subnautica itself isn't giving me the option to update... any way I can fix this?

You mean your save hasn't updated, or the entire game?
What does the number on the upper right of the screen read?

It's my entire game because when I open up the game it says "Feb-2017 45367" if it was my save it would only say that on my save and not the main menu right?

I found my way into the precursor lab but I still want to know if my build is the lastest build or not.

Are you on the stable build, or the 'beta' experimental builds? (Have you switched to experimental?)

You should be up to date then, the latest update was the Infected update, which was Feb 45367. Sometimes saves don't get updated properly, though; if you think this is the case, you can try clearing your cache (create a new save, if there are areas in the new save that are updated and your old save doesn't have those updates, you need to clear your cache to force it to update). Instructions for that are in the second line of my signature. Be sure that you need to do it beforehand, though, it's getting to be less necessary as the game gets more bugfixes and optimization.
