[Bug] Unable to create a sign [Feb-2017 45367]

I tried to create a sign on a window, but it's impossible (nothing happens while I have the necessary materials and the right tool). I cannot remove the preview of the sign.



I hope I have explained the problem quite clearly,

No fix at the moment. Windows and hull reinforcements can both prevent building signs, pictures, and medkit fabricators. If you have a save from before you started the sign, deconstruct the window, then build sign, then build window.

For building signs in places where you normally can't, one work around I've found is to place a poster up in the area, build the sign over the poster in a valid spot, then take down the poster.

This lets you build signs in some hatch ways and on walls where you otherwise couldn't.

I wonder if that would let you place certain things in the Cyclops that you'd think you could (like the shelves). I doubt it, but maybe I'll try just to see.

IIRC you can't hang posters in the Cyclops unfortunately.

Right, no posters on cyclops. It was in one of the trello pages, I think it was playtesting.
