I personally feel that the Seaglide uses up its battery far too quickly. When using the Seaglide it runs out of battery in barely 2 minutes, this gets next to no exploration done. When the light is on it nearly doubles in its battery drain. I had the light on as soon as I replaced the battery and ran out of power almost as soon as I got to my base, I only swam for about a minute with the light on. Also, when replacing the battery the light is automatically forced on. If I forget that, I run out of power too quickly. During the day I cannot see that the light is on and waste my power. I feel that the light should stay in whatever state it is in whenever a battery is replaced. When the light is off, even with power left, and a battery is swapped out the light should stay off. The frame rate is also a massive issue in high activity areas. If the texture quality on some creatures was lowered at a distance, especially when they are in groups, this may increase the performance in some areas. Lowering the particle count on thermal vents will also help the performance slightly. Increasing the load distance and draw distance of the terrain may help to prevent stuttering when moving quickly. Reducing the texture quality of the surface of the water, when underwater will improve the performance as well. Increasing the draw distance on creatures as well will prevent them from spawning directly on top of, or inside, the player. I had 2 Stalkers spawn 2 feet in front of me while I was using my Seaglide to get around quickly and they immediately killed me. A Reaper also spawned in within a few dozen feet and killed me very quickly afterward because I could not see it soon enough to get away. These are just my own personal gripes but I hope they help to improve the overall quality of this great game. For video evidence of just some of what was mentioned here please feel free to follow this link to a 4 hour livestream I hosted which showcases a large number of these issues; Thank you for taking the time to read this.
