Saved game is damaged...

Really bummed about this one...spent 2 days into this game having so much fun when today I opened up subnautica and discovered that my save game is damaged.

Ran recuva and extrated the .json file that was in my game folder 40 hours before I saved for the last time and it still says save game damaged.

What should I do ? =/ please help me.

If any dev looks at this thread here is my savegame file.

Recover the first 3 and it might work:

• gameinfo.json
• global-objects.bin
• scene-objects.bin
• screenshot.jpg (<- that's the little thumbnail showing you a preview of the save when you go to load)

I've been having this issue. I tried the above and that didn't work nor did verifying game files. I figured out a solution that worked for myself. I went into SNUnmamagedData folder in my game directory and deleted the entire contents of the Build18 folder, although I prob could have just deleted the whole folder. Then verified game files on steam . It was 1.2 gb for me to redownload the folders cobtents. Then I got in my world and my stuff was all there.

Also I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but that didn't work either. Now my save is not damaged since I did the above

Well, that's very odd! Glad you have it fixed though.
