    Good. Intel can gtfo.

Allow me to speculate and think out loud. AMD and Nvidia have been direct competitors for so long, and in any market where 2 parties compete so closely, they either kill each other in mutually assured destruction or eventually agree to share the pond.

As more PC users want gaming capabilities they go for AMD instead of Intel, who traditionally provide a more generalised service. It was only a matter of time before AMD stepped up.
It wouldn't surprise me if they kill off Intel altogether in years to come, pushing all their resources into the CPU market and leave Nvidia to sit on top of the GPU market.

It's an awesome conspiracy and they're all in on it.

AMD has always been better. Both in price and stability. Get ready this coming summer for consumer AMD DDR 4 boards processors and a whole new line up of cards.
Add to that AMD has almost always costed less to run; not only in price tag but in power use. That is why coin miners ALWAYS go with AMD.

Are you joking? I litterately just went from an AMD 8350 to a Intel I7 - 4770k :/

To be fair... The legendary CPU's from Intel called Pentium MMX, 2, 3, Core2 (Conroe, Allendale, Wolfdale, Kentsfield, Yorkfield) and Sandy Bridge and were extremely good and completely kicked AMD's ass during those times. Then we have the amazing AMD Thunderbird, XP, Barton, Venice cores, where AMD was kicking Intel's butt :D

I'm not entirely sure what's going on in CPU land at this time, soooooo... Something about bulldozers and iCores and mantles?

I've never had a problem with my Nvidia cards.

That's not your CPU, but yep, I've always been a Nvidia guy but currently have an AMD. I regret changing.

    AH...
Well my i5-4460 @ 3.20 GHz (x2) does extremely well with all the games I'm currently playing, so I guess the same holds true for it.

AMD needs to blow both Intel and nVidia out of the water with Ryzen and Vega, for both Intel and nVidia's own good. They're getting lazy. xP
