Why not revert graphics for xbox?

I own subnautica on PC and the original graphics for the PC weren't the best but they were decent enough to play the game and a lot of people with low and gaming rigs were able to play it but soon as they updated the graphics lot of people have framerate issues or couldn't play it due to the fact that the graphics are just much better than they were so why not just revert the graphics down to where they were at on the original pc release, for the Xbox so we can have a stable frame rate sure the graphics might not be PC quality but you'll never get that on consoles

XB1 should be playable once they get to the optimization phase before v1.0 release. It should actually be a lot more playable on the stable update after Castles & Coffee, I *think*.

xbox can take it have you seen battlefield 1 graphics on xbox or how big the world is on gta5 and ark survival? people need to stop treating consoles like some low budget devices all pc has is the ability to customise graphics cards and parts that's the only reason they have more fps and shit whiles we console gamers need to wait for new generation consoles to have those upgrades that's why sometimes when a console gets old pc chat shit when in fact as soon as Scorpio comes out it will be on the same level as a pc today until obviously better graphics cards come out and pc pull away again

Ugh, you do realize that consoles will always be a few steps behind PC. Even when a new consoles comes out, they are always based on an older generation PC's. It's not shit talking if it's based on facts...

Also you're comparing apples and oranges, Unity engine is not built for large open areas out of the box. As such eats up cpu and memory, something the consoles are severely lacking. Because right now they kinda have to brute force it, something even big rig PC's have issues with.

After optimizations, there might be a possibility for better graphics. Unless the engine has trouble compressing the textures and polygon complexity on the fly (LoD long distance textures/models etc.)

If I understand correctly, Scorpio, when it comes out, will have the equivalent power of mid-range PCs currently. And of course, much less flexibility. I'm guessing it'll have something similar to a Radeon RX400 series GPU, and a mid-range Ryzen processor? Someone who's up to date on this stuff can probably correct this (I'm all ears).
