Castle and Coffee Update

I play on Creative. I had a Cyclops built. I went to move closer to my base which was right where you spawn to start the game. As I was driving closer, the game as is usual for me fails to load the ground textures and I think I accidently went through the ground texture into nothingness which immediately caused severe lag and sputtering, then some 5 second long freezes, then it finally crashed. I didn't have it recording all the way through, but it'll shows the lag and the freezing.

This has nothing to do with the newest update. This is a typical ongoing problem I have had with this game. The lag will go from 100fps down to 5 every time I turn directions. If I jump in the water, huge lag spike. I have an i7 920. 750ti. Windows 10. Nothing I do fixes this, all the while people play the game without any problems.

Does the game seem to work fine at the start, and then progressively start slowing down eventually? Or does it seem like this is only happening anytime you turn directions?

I am also having this problem. I got a Nvidia gtx 1060, a Intel core i5-3570k 3.4 (overclocked to 4.0) and 16GB of RAM running on Window 10 64 bit. I am running everything on recommended and I am still having frame drops or almost entire freezes. In some areas its worst then others. The only things I have are a small base with 2 multipurpose rooms with some lockers and interior growbed and a Seamoth thats just it. Think it started happening when I got some weird graphic glitch.

Try clearing the cache, see if it helps (until they fix it, anyways). See the first line of my signature ▼ below.
